Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 30 Seconds mobile app.
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing or using the 30 Seconds app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is provided by Joost Muijsenberg ("we", "us", "our"), based in the Netherlands. Contact: joostmuijsenberg.dev@gmail.com.
2. Licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited licence to install and use the App on devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and the age of legal majority in your country, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by applicable law;
- modify, adapt or create derivative works of the App;
- remove, alter or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices;
- use the App to violate any law or the rights of others;
- interfere with the normal operation of the App, including by tampering with advertisements, attempting to bypass paywalls (if any) or overloading our systems;
- distribute, sublicense, sell, rent or lease the App.
5. Advertisements
The App is supported by advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that advertisements may be displayed. Information about how advertising is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Intellectual property
The App, including all related code, design, graphics, text and other content, is owned by Joost Muijsenberg or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence in Section 2, no rights are granted to you.
"30 Seconds" as a game concept may be associated with separate rights holders. This App is an independent implementation and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any third-party rights holder unless explicitly stated.
7. Third-party services and stores
The App is distributed through application stores (such as the Google Play Store or Apple App Store). Your download and use of the App is also subject to the terms of the relevant store. We are not responsible for any acts or omissions of those stores.
8. Updates
We may release updates to the App from time to time. Updates may add, change or remove features. You agree that we are not obligated to provide any specific update or to continue supporting any particular version of the App or operating system.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Joost Muijsenberg be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or for non-conformity rights granted to consumers under their local law.
11. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. We may suspend or terminate your right to use the App at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated via the App or this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
